Research Profile
Sonia Pozzi is a PhD student at the Institute of Computational Science in Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana). She received her Master degree in Mathematics at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria in 2013 with a Master thesis "Reduced Basis Methods for Contact Problems in Elasticity and their Application in Biomechanics" developed in close collaboration with the ICS. Her main research topic are the investigation of multi-scale numerical simulations of cardiac electromechanics coupling and related high performance approaches.
