Description
The proposed project is aims to:
- 1) validate the strain measurements derived from in-vivo invasive EM mapping with the strain measurements obtained using tagged CMR;
- 2) investigate the association between the presence and transmurality of the scar as evidenced by late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) sequences and the amplitude of local endocardial voltages measured during electroanatomical mapping;
- 3) evaluate the role of electrical and mechanical measurements, both separately and jointly, as correlates of a positive outcome in a follow-up study and their predictive value for CRT effectiveness at 6-month follow-up.
